When do discounts/deals usually appear?

We are just starting to plan a trip for fall. We're tentatively looking at either the week starting Nov. 9 or Oct. 19, based on crowd calendars and our personal schedules. I received a notice in the mail for reduced resort room rates recently, but it was for spring. Should I expect to wait until August-ish for info on discounts for fall? I don't have anything specific in mind, we would just love to save some money. As it stands, we are probably looking at an All-Star resort with a dining plan, not sure which one. It's just me and my husband on this trip. Any advice would be most welcome!

You can check the discount rates and codes board at the top of this board and subscribe to a thread that has all the information as discounts are released; they are usually released about 3 - 4 months ahead.

You can also see the historical data on mousesavers.com; but take it with a grain of salt; Disney has said they are cutting back on discounts and this year could be an indication - there may not be as many discounts as in previous years.
