When do daughters drop the attitude?

Mine is 27 and she STILL has a crappy attitude, now that she is getting a divorce, its worst. She lays into me quite often, especially when I can't give her money, or watch the grandkids when SHE wants me to. So, now we are not speaking which is fine with me, I am so glad she lives on her own.

I am 34 and I still have a attitude!I have a 7 yr old dd and let me tell you -it took me years to get where she is already at 7 so I can't wait till teens.I told her the other day she has the attitude of an elephant in a little body and she answered me back-your my mother(and she is right)My parents are really enjoying the payback!!!

Just wait until she's 15. I hear that DS is so well behaved and quiet at school. But he can't keep his mouth shut at home! I get tired just listening to him...I need a break!

Almost 19 and it's a little better.

My DD just turned 19 and she has grown up so much in the last year. I still see the attitude every now and again but nothing like it was a few years ago.

Mine's 13, and we're right in the thick of it. Especially during certain times of the month, WOW

And then she goes to a friend's house, and the mom tells me "she's so polite and quiet, I hardly knew she was here!"

Mine got started a little later with the attitude -- 12. She was the sweetest, most compliant child up until then. Now I don't even know her! She's an alien.

Oh well. At least my son is turning human again, even if he still does have his moments.
