When do CM discounts expire?

We originally planned on going over Christmas, but I now realize that the week between Christmas and New Year's is a blackout time. So, if a CM finishes on January 8 and we want to go from Jan 1 - January 10 will her discounts still apply? If I book a room while she's still in the program will the discount carry over after she's finished. Likewise for park passes for her and her family. Does everything expire on January 8th?

When I did my program, our discounts ended the day we left meaning that our work ID expired the last day. I don't know if it changed since then (I did the program in Fall '07), but it might still be the same.

I agree. Since you are supposed to turn in your ID when you leave, your discounts will end. I would have to say that since you want to stay in a resort on Jan. 1 and her program ends on Jan. 8, that her discount will still apply. They only check for an ID when you check-in at the resort, so I would say you would be fine. Don't hold me to that though, but I would have her check to get a definite answer. As for all the other discounts, those would be gone when her ID is turned in or expired.

I believe this is correct. Once her id expires on her last day of work, all the discounts plus the maingate pass no longer work.

Bad News... the information about the ID is correct, however, the maingate works on a calendar year so the free entrances for the park expire on Dec. 31.

I recieved my 2009 pass in mid-December because I had already secured a PI for Spring, however, my other roommates did not recieve their tickets until they had started the new program.

Main Entrance Passes issued by The Walt Disney Company and Affiliated Companies in 2009 for use in 2009 will expire at 23:59 on 31 December 2009.

i think Berlioz ment the passes will expire dec 31, 2009 since her program ends only a week after the new year starts. unless she extends she would get new maingate passes for the spring semester. otherwise she has till dec 31, 2009 to use her maingate passes.

yeah, the others were right, sorry if I didn't state that clearly.

The maingate is only good for one calendar year. If the CM is in the fall 2009 program then the maingate expires Dec. 31 2009.

The next year's maingate is mailed in Decemeber. If the CM has secured employment with the company for 2010 they will get the new pass before the year starts (that's why I got mine early).

However, if they simply extend the CP for another semester, than it seems that the new pass is mailed AFTER the new year starts (which is why my roommates didn't get their new Maingates until mid-January).

Hopefully that makes more sense.
