When do Christmas Decorations go up in the resorts?

I know in general they go up after Thanksgiving, but in the delux resorts, would they be up the Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday BEFORE Thanksgiving?

I don't think it can be guaranteed but we saw quite a bit of Christmas decorations in the resorts as early as the second week in November (it's a lot of decorations that take a long time to put up throughout WDW).

I would think that you would see a lot, if not most of the holiday decor the week before Thanksgiving.

We were at WDW this last Nov. before Thanksgiving and they were up already. The CM at OKW told us they started putting them up early after Sept. 11 to help get the crowds up but who knows really. All I know we were very surprised and happy by this. Now we did not go into the parks on this last trip in early Nov. so I cannot talk about them...smjj

They started going up Nov 1st at the Yacht Club last year, I was shocked.

We were at the AKL Nov. 8th-Nov.12th 2004 and I went to bed at midnight on the 10th -not a decoration in sight-and woke up at 6 A.M. on the 11th to find it beautifully decorated. Right outside my room-huge tree- never heard a sound!

Oh you guys!!! You've just made my day! I have a girl's trip with 2 other good friends planned for Nov. 12-21 and I was hoping those Christmas decorations would be up so they could see them. They've never been to WDW- so I want to do a resort hopping day where we go to enjoy all the trees in the resorts. Now.... all I need to do is plan which resorts we want to spend the weekends (Fri and Sat) in. Weekdays will be spent in either BCV's or BWV's. OH BOY!!!! I can harldy wait!! WOOHOOO!!!
