When do christmas decorations go up at the resorts?

We are going to be there Dec6th-9th and was planning on the 8th going around and looking at christmas decorations at resorts like the gingerbread house at grand floridian...will they be up?

All parks and resort decorations will be up by Thanksgiving. The gingerbread house at GF is very well done. If you have time be sure to stop by the Yacht and Beach to see the chocolate carousel. Enjoy!

You should check out the huge Christmas trees at Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom too. We're staying at Wilderness Lodge November 26 - December 5 and I can't wait to see all the decorations!

We were at wdw the Friday before Thanksgiving to the Sunday after in 2007.

Many decorations were already up at arrival. But between Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day, it seemed the rest of the resort decorations went up overnight.

A magical time to be there!

Around Thanksgiving is the best bet. Magic Kingdom goes up first of course in very early November. The rest is done one by one.

Yes they will be up. They start with the parks the day after Halloween. Everything will be decorated by the time you arrive.
