When did you start dating?

At 16. I was a junior in High School. I do believe my first REAL date was the junior/senior prom. BTW, I married him, and we have been married for 35 years!!:)

I went on my 1st double date when I was 15 years old. Prior to that, we just went to boy/girl birthday and Christmas parties and met up with our "boyfriends" there. I think my first boy/girl party was when I turned 13.

I started dating one on one when I was 16 years old... and I think that is time enough.

I was 14...but is making out in discreet locations around the neighborhood and under the boarkwalk in Wildwood, NJ dating? ;)

My first 'car' date I was 15. He was 18!

I wasn't allowed to date until I was 16 and that is when I had my first date. He was 19 and we went to one of his friend's house and then we went bowling. Very exciting. :)

I had my first "boyfriend" when I was in the fifth grade - I was about ten or eleven. It wasn't anything serious - we would hold hands on the playground during recess and bring each other candy and stuffed animals at Valentine's Day and Halloween parties. :) I had another little boyfriend in sixth grade, but there hasn't really been anyone since then - my friends and I just hang out in groups, like what you were talking about.
I've been "talking" to a couple of guys lately - basically talking on the phone and over the internet but not actually dating. It's kind of like the beginning stages before becoming an official couple. I haven't been on an actual date-date since November of 2002 (and he was such a jerk! ugh! lol...) I'm starting to become depressed! But then again, most of my friends are single too - only a couple of girls I know have steady boyfriends...

I was 13... he was 17 or 18... we dated for a good year and a half. We still email every so often to this day even though we're both grown up and married with kids :)

I was almost 16, he was 18. I convinced my parents that 2 weeks wouldn't make any difference. Now I wished they locked me up in my room.

My first official girlfriend was when I was 14. She lived in the next town over from me, and Kissimmee-St. Cloud relationships very rarely worked out b/c of the football rivalry. :teeth: Actually, we broke up the week of the big Kissimmee-St. Cloud football game. But, we won the game and ended up going to the state championship, so I'd say it was well worth it. ;)

I wasn't allowed to date until I was 16. Having very strict cuban parents I wasn't even allowed to cross the street to go to the store by myself.

I gave them no grief.

Aren't they lucky, I married my first boyfriend.

Group "dating" -- a bunch of kids hanging out and going to the movies together started when I was about 13/14.

I was not allowed to date one-on-one until I was 16. Once I hit 16 I seemed to date quite a bit. ;) My first real boyfriend was a senior, I was a sophomore. I had to get special permission to go to prom with him; sophomores were generally not allowed to go.

I had another boyfriend my junior year and a long-term boyfriend my senior year, who I dated through college and was engaged to at one point (we broke that off, wisely so, we were both WAYYYY too young to get married at 21). :)

15, Freshman year I dated a sophomore for awhile. It was so innocent that we never even kissed, we were both too afraid, shy and not ready! We were really just 2 friends who held hands, but we did consider ourselves "a couple" at that time!

He's now married with kids, so I guess he eventually got over his shyness!

My first date was to my Senior Prom. I was 17 and I did the asking too. To top it off, he was a Sophomore and a very good friend.

In College I made up for lost time and dated more often.

I never dated in high school because I was not very sociable. I had my first (and current) boyfriend at the end of freshman year in college right before I turned 19. Funny thing is we had psychology class together my senior and his junior year of high school and we never once talked to each other!
