When did you guys get your DVC 500 Disney reward Dollars!!!! UPDATE!!!!!!

I thought it was a gift card. We added on in late Aug. and i was hoping to have my 500 buck gift card by Nov. 20th????

your credit card statement?

Yes, since the disney reward dollars show up in your reward balance, they will appear on the CC statement. I then logged in and had the points transferred to the reward card, which came in the mail yesterday.

There were/are two promotions. The $500 gift card with a visa logo is for being referred by a current DVC member. The 500 disney visa reward credits come from putting your downpayment on your disney visa card. Those credits show up in your account 2-3 months after purchase.

Well we did put our deposit on the Disney Visa but we added on late Aug. with current incentive and I thought it was a gift card. I guess time will tell. Thanks.

Hmm, I'm not sure which incentive you'll get then - did you fill out paperword with DVC for the giftcard or did you give your visa rewards number (not just your CC number). I'm pretty sure the add-on incentive is the gift card (good anywhere that takes visa) and you'll get it about 4-5 weeks after closing.

I gave him my cc number only. We signed all sorts of paperwork and I remember something about a "gift card" but I think that was for the 800 bucks they applied from the 8 dollars off or something.

The Chase Visa reward dollars were for new purchases of at least 160 points. I think the add-on promo was for a gift card.

We closed in august and I was hoping for them for christmas.. wow closed in may and no points yet?? that worries me.

And the bad part is the reward points are not indicated as part of the contract. I bought in June and still have not seen the reward points on my Disney Vis statement. I'm hoping they will be on my September 12 statement.

Our statement closed last night. NO reward dollars.
We bought in May, closed in May. Got the e-mail from Chase June 19. Got confirmation from our guide on June 23 that we ARE eligible for the reward dollars. July 15, August 15, and September 15 all come and go, NO reward dollars.

Tried to call my guide today but I don't have his number at work with me. Called a main DVC number, they told me to call Chase. Called Chase, they told me to call a specific lady at DVC. Called the DVC lady, she's not in the office.

I am getting REALLY aggravated.

It came it the large cardboard envelope and at first I couldn't figure out what it was as it did not say it was from DVC. But inside was the $500 GC. If you don't get it within about 8 weeks after you close, I'd call your guide or member services.

I waited the two billing cycles, and then after the third I started calling my salesman. He assured me he would take care of it, but nothing happened. Called Chase and got nowhere.

Eventually we called Disney Customer Service ( or got forwarded there). It turns out our sales rep did not file the proper paperwork. We finally got the reward dollars two billing cycles after this.

If it is over three billing cycles, I would call and demand to talk to customer service, not the sales rep.

The rep I spoke to at Chase gave me the number of a woman at DVC who is supposed to be in charge of making sure people get those reward dollars, but her voice mail says she is out of the office through tomorrow.
I did bring my guide's number to work with me today so I might call him and just verify that the woman Chase told me to call is really the one I need to call.
Luckily we don't need the reward dollars right this minute, but I want to get this taken care of NOW since the promo ended this week. The longer it drags the harder it will be to resolve.

Well my guide called yesterday to get my promo number, which I gave him in July when I purchased. He said he was now doing the paperwork and it should be two more billing sycles before I get the reward dollars. Luckily I am not going until January and plan to use them to buy AP's. I have to say I would have been really upset if I was going to WDW soon.

WOOO HOOO Just got off the phone with Disney reward card guest services!!!!! WOO HOO we got our $500 reward dollars!!!! YES this is perfect timing..we leave for Disney Wednesday!

It did take 2 billing cycles!
