When did you get your Developer's Points?

We just sent out contract in on Tuesday, but I called to get my PIN to log into the dvcmember site and saw our use year points for Dec 2008 - 2011 but didn't see the developer's points. For those that got those points when did they appear and when could you use them? I'm a teeny bit concerned because we are having another issue with one of the other incentives we were given...

I didn't gain access to the website until after I made my first reservation, when I told the person at Member Services I wanted to use devloper points she had to go look for my incentive offer number and then fill out some type of form on her computer and then I had the points. Try calling about them.

We were able to use or developer points immediatly. In fact our DVC rep made our first reservation while we were still in the Doorway to Dreams store in the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg ,IL. I am not sure they ever showed up on line. It took a while for us to get our login set up.

BTW - by using the developer points on our first trip this july, that reservation is not linked to our on line account, which makes me nervous. But I have been reassured that everything is fine. They also had to fill out something manually as mentioned in the previous post. I did add a day to our original stay, and that transaction is on our online account. And I have been told the two reservations have been linked so we don't have to change rooms.

My developers points were showing at the same time my new points were. It was simply that my total points were more than they would have been - nothing else distinguished them.
My reservation that I made with the points also shows on the website. From what I understand this is kind of a new thing so maybe it still doesn't happen with everyone?

Thanks for the super-speedy responses! Hearing that points were available to some online at the same time as the regular use year points is definitely making me nervous . I think a call to Member Services tomorrow (if they're in on Sat of course) may be in order...

We booked a ressie with our developer points the day after we put our deposit down, we also had access to the website at that point and our developer points show up as points transferred in (they're not classified as developer points on the website).

We were able to book with our developers pts right away. We actually did it right after we signed our contract at DTD. I was told it would take 10 days to receive written confirmation but I called member services to double check everything the next day and they had my confirmation number already.

I still don't have access to the member website It has only been 2 weeks though. Maybe I will call about it today.

I called member services and all is right with the "world"...Our developers points are available (tho' still not showing up on the dvcmember site for some reason).

Oh and Minnie2...I just called and asked for the PIN over the phone yesterday and they provided it (I definitely have a problem with the concept of delayed gratification) so go ahead and make that call...
