when did you get you voucher??

So are they sending out the actual tickets or are they still sending out vouchers? This is so confusing. I am in no hurry we are not going until Dec. but I am still curious since I won one from one commercial and DH won one from another thinking that we could get them from different commercials and then FIL won one as well. This whole thing was a tad confusing.

I am hoping that with the info in the email above to another poster

"-Your ticket will be delivered to the address that you entered upon
registration within the first three weeks of March 2009. The actual
prize must be with you when you enter the park. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY
INCONVENIENCE, BUT WE ARE UNABLE TO EXPEDITE YOUR PRIZE IN ANY WAY."

that it is the actual ticket

That would be cool :cool1:

Yes, that would be WAAAAAY cool!

I just called and got my confirmation # too. We are leaving in a few weeks. She said I would need the confirmation # and photo ID and go to Guest Services at the park.

Has anyone who won the NBC second chance drawing e-mailed ePrize about that one? That seems to be different rules. The Superbowl one says that the ticket is good until December 2009 and only one winner per household. The NBC one says that the ticket is good until Feb. 8th 2010 and doesn't say one per household. It also doesn't say that you will get a confirmation code. Just a ticket. That one says 8-10 weeks though so I don't think my husban will get that one in time.

I just called to check on ours even though we weren't going for awhile. It has been mailed out. And just so you know, the wife used her work address and that is where it's being sent. I know some others tried that so it sounds like it will work. I assume this means the people that used parents addresses, etc will get one too. Just make sure to use a passport for photo ID since there are no addresses in them.

Not upset. We're just really jealous.:goodvibes

I hope that everyone else on here gets their tickets in time.

It's a shame you didn't apply Damo, I just 'had a go', I never thought I'd actually get a ticket.....:)

on your passports, you are to write in your address on page 4.
stating to keep it current on the passports.

it is listed to do it in pencil as addresses change.
that is what is listed on the passports that have the chip in them

Not to start any fussiness or anything, but I'm inclined not to believe jopaly (sorry!) Just my own thoughts :)

Eligibility: Universal Heroes Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.

Anyway, I just heard back from Universal and they told me that tickets would not be mailed out before March 8th.

Hmmmm....Perhaps you'd like a photo of me holding the ticket. If it helps you to 'believe', I'll be happy to oblige.

Honestly, I don't know why you think someone would invent a story like this, I only posted that I'd received my ticket, in the hope that others would be getting theirs too.

Sorry if I've caused you to lose sleep...:thumbsup2

Yep....you're correct. There is a place to write it in but we never have and we have traveled out of the U.S. no less than 20 times and have never had an issue. I think we'll pencil it in to be safe this time.

We're just so used to contests that are open to US residents only but advertised up here. You just learn to ignore them. Unfortunately, I wish I hadn't this time.

Let me ask you.. are you (or the people who will be using the tickets) a resident of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia?

I am almost 100% sure I can see where you are going with this.

I just KNOW, I have that deep down "gut" feeling, you are going to tell the poster that they will not be allowed to use the ticket if they are not a US resident.

Universal would not have sent it if the individual could not use it.

I really would not go there.

Really.

If I am wrong - then sorry.

...No, I live in the county of Northamptonshire, the Rose of the shires, in England, UK. I am a British Citizen of Irish decent.

I don't know why I was sent a ticket as 'technically' I don't qualify....but I'm not going to complain now. Clearly Universal know that I am not a resident of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, as I told them this when I emailed them and obviously they know where they Fedexed to.......:headache:

A copy of the email I received:

Hi,

On behalf of Universal Orlando I would like to congratulate you! As part of the Super Bowl free ticket giveaway you will be receiving a free ticket for Universal Orlando. Please send me your full name and address and your free Universal Orlando ticket will be mailed shortly thereafter.

We hope that you enjoy the parks!

Thank you,

Pat Mancuso

...Do you work for the CIA?;)

P.S, you're helping me to improve my Post Count....thanks:thumbsup2

I thought the same thing.....

You're lucky, I got nailed on it as I had not penciled in my address.
That's why I tell everyone to pencil in the address.
Saves you grief then.

It might just have been the large prize of a trip that required people to be US citizens. Who knows. I'd love to have an email address to contact them and ask for future clarification.
