When did the dining plan for Modertes go to Quick Service?

We just booked a three night stay at Coronado...when we were told we had a PIN for free dining I was excited...then found out it is for quick service. When did that change tAke place?

The upgrade to the next dining plan is $ 15 per person per night. Just want to make sure I understand...that extra will give us one full service restaurant meal, plus one more snack? thanks!

It is just part of that pin code for some reason. If you buy the Dining Plan and are staying at a Moderate you still get the regular plan.

You now only get 1 snack per person per night, no matter if you are on the quick service or regular dining plan. That is a change from last year.

They've been doing that for some of the PIN codes since last year. I think the British offer has always been quick service for moderates. They haven't done it with the general public offers for the US - yet.

If you upgrade to the regular plan you go from 2 QS and 1 snack per person per night to 1 TS, 1 QS and 1 snack per person per night.

I received the same pin offer last year for our May/June trip. At the time, on these boards, there was speculation if this would become the norm for free dinning offers. It didn't turn out that way, but it's interesting the same PIN is coming out again for a similar period. I just hope I get one!!!

Last year, it was only $11 to upgrade from QSDP to DDP - it was totally worth it.

? - did you receive this in the mail, or you called and they happened to mention it to you? It sounded like the later.

I called to book two nights at a deluxe resort with the 30% room only discount to piggyback on a trip to Tampa for spring training baseball...when I booked it the agent told me about the PIN...thought about it, juggled the trip around as the dates needed to be later for FD and basically got three nights at a moderate nd free QS dining for the same price as two nights at the Boardwalk. Would have loved to stay on the boardwalk, but three nights is so much better. I then looked at a secondary email account I rarely use and the offer was there!

Pin codes usually only offer QS for moderate and value resort. The general public free dining usually offer regular dinin plan with moderate.

We are from the UK and only got free QSDP with our reservation for CSR - where as at the time I noticed that US residents could get the standard DP so I thought thatwas a bit unfair.

We do still get 2 SC per day where as everyone else has gone down to 1 so I suppose that makes up for it abit
