When did Storm Force Acceleration get so awesome?

We visit Orlando every 2 years. 2 years ago we went on Storm Force Acceleration and it was meh. It barely spun and the wheel in the middle was so tight that we could hardly move it.

Fast forward to last week. We almost skipped the ride, but we were at Dr. Doom and decided to try it (the entrance is temporarily at Dr. Doom because of the Hulk construction). We were shocked when the wheel turned very easily. We were spinning at centrifuge speed before the ride even started! And when it did... WOW! It was super fast and super spinny. Definitely a worthy ride!

Anyone else had a similar experience?

I've felt it's very spinny. And my son loves it. Maybe you had a dud ride vehicle before?
