When did Liberty Tree Tavern go up?

I had menus printed and budgets planned (along with our tip since we were a party of 7) and WHAM surprised that LTT was more than I'd written down when planning. I was really disappointed in the meal for that price....and the restaurant was way way too crowded. They sat us at a table made for 6 so we had 4 on one side all elbow to elbow and absolutely no room to sit anything on the table.

They've taken away the characters, shoved you in to smaller spaces and went up to 31.99 per adult and 15.99 per child!!!!! Crazy! That is the only thing I regret about this trip is keeping this ADR when there were so many other better ones for less....I could have eated HollyWood and Vine twice, or fit SciFi back in LOL

We ate there last year before MNSSHP. Our wait time was outrageous because they booked a closed rest. and sent them to Liberty Tree. Our waiter was rude. My nephew ordered one of the special drinks to get the souvenir mug. When I asked the waiter where the mug was he said "No, I didn't even charge you for the drink." I said "Well charge me and give me my mug!"

Go for lunch and order off of the menu.

yeah, we've been for both dinner & lunch. Lunch is SOOOO much better. That dinner is OK, but nothing special. Was fine with characters, but over-priced without. Like the lunch menu (and cheaper)

I COMPLETELY agree!!

Last time we were there for dinner - the food was okay but way overpriced, even by Disney standards! It was basically all Stouffers stuff that you could get at home and stick in the oven.

Next trip we are going there for lunch.

Always thought the dinner meal was pretty lousy. Also, living where we do in PA with many authentic 200-300 year old restaurants and taverns, atmosphere there was never a biggie for us.

ITA! The food that they serve for dinner is not worth what they charge for it. I used to go to LTT because I could see Chip & Dale there, but now that they're gone, I have no desire to go back. I can go to the Garden Grill or Crystal Palace for the same $$$ and see characters & get better food!
