When did Hasbro become king of Disney dolls when Mattel used to make Disney dolls?

Ever since they started making the dolls based on Elena Of Avalor I have noticed that Hasbro has made themselves the king of Disney dolls when Mattel used to make Disney dolls? Is it because Mattel no longer makes them or did Disney sign a huge deal with Hasbro to do Disney dolls and toys? Because from Frozen II to Raya And The Last Dragon and Ralph Breaks The Internet it seems that Hasbro wants to be Disney doll king. And the only Disney Mattel toys that Mattel has made are Pixar figures and plushies. I remember when Disney asked Tyco to make all the dolls for their movies based on the success of The Little Mermaid doll series but Tyco lost the chance to Mattel but when Mattel bought Tyco they bought the rights to The Little Mermaid dolls. As a doll collector I never knew why Hasbro is making Disney dolls now

I remember when Disney first teamed up with Mattel in the 80's to create their successful toy line for infants and preschoolers and based on that alone was the beginning of a long relationship with Mattel and when they debuted the Disney Classics doll line in 1991 with the Cinderella doll it was a hit. But the only main reason Hasbro is making Disney dolls now is because they want to be the top toy company for Disney and not only that they also make the Marvel toys and Star Wars toys. I hope Mattel makes the dolls for the upcoming Encanto in November when the movie debuts
