When did Disney Visa change their rules?

The last time we went to Disney (2years ago) we used our Disney Visa for the trip. I liked that I didn't have to make a payment or incure interest for 6months. Well our vacation will depend on airfare. So I like that cusion of time. If I don't find a good price we won't go and that's ok with us. But Disney now wants you to pay the minimum each month. While it's interest free you still have to pay the minimum. We don't hold a balance on that card and I am not looking forward to having a credit should we have to cancel do to high air. So when did Disney Visa start doing this?

Chase didn't change the rules. The Federal government did, with the Credit Card Act of 2009. Credit card companies are compelled to require a minimum payment on all outstanding debt, including promotional rates.

Think they/Gov are trying to get people to not "forget" about their "put off "debt?
Lots of cc debt out there and more people filing for bankruptcy....even the banks are loosening rules and starting to make changes as to people that filed Bankruptcy...like still giving car loans despite it....a sign of the times I suppose

Chase has actually ALWAYS required that you make a minimum payment on any balance on your credit card each month. The offer has always been 0% APR. But, you have always still needed to make a minimum monthly payment to your credit card.

Just use the card for your groceries once a month and pay that amount on your card every month. This should cover the minimum payment amount. I have had something charged to that card every month that was more than the minimum payment amount. I paid off everything but the 0% offer amount every month for the past 5 months and haven't been charged any interest and the amount for the vacation has stayed the same which I will pay off this month. That way if you have cancel you shouldn't have the credit problem.

However if you return anything it goes against the 0% offer. I found that out with the 6 month offer on my $200 deposit that I had first. So I made sure after that I only charged things that I wouldn't be returning.
