when did disney start excluding discounting weekend nights

Hi: I finally received a discount for port orleans of 10 % but they did not discount the most expensive nights friday and saturday. The discounts i used to recieve would cover the whole vacation. It was the enchanted holiday for fall 2018.

For at least the last several years I've seen right on the offer details for room rate discounts that its "most Sunday through Thursday's".

Until another recession hits, or God forbid, a terror attack, or the competition heats up, Disney will try to decrease any discounts they can.
