When did CoP go into "seasonal" last year?

Hi everybody. I was at WDW in October of 2005 (10/1-10/7), and the Carousel of Progress was open every day I was there. Now whether you think I am a kook or not, I have to say the CoP is far and away my favorite Disney attraction, and I am in fact planning this year's trip around it. I heard that the CoP went into "seasonal mode" around November 1st last year. Is this true? If so that is going to affect whether I go in late Oct or early Nov of this year.

If anybody has any information I would be very grateful. Thanks!

I think so but only for mantience. It probably wont be put back into seasonal mode again this year.

You are NOT a kook!!! It's my absolute favorite attraction. Probably due to the memories of when it was at DL...It was one of my dads favorites and we never missed it. I was upset when they took it to WDW. Same with Mickey Moo (the cow). She was taken from DL to WDW too. I'm counting on COP being open when we go in Jan 07. I will be terribly sad if it isn't. I haven't seen it in soooo long. I hope you get to see it again as well!

it had better be open next september 2007. ive seen it since i was little, and always loved it and the song. and my little girl and my wife have to see it too, they have never been to wdw.

We went in January 2006 and it was open all three times we entered MK. I thought, being January, that it wouldn't be. Buzz was closed during that time, so maybe they wanted another attraction open to hold some people's interest in Tomorrowland???
