When can you start making ADRs?

I thought it was 180 days out. My friend was just told a year out by someone. I said maybe others you can but I know CRT and others aer only available at the 180 day mark. We never schedule our trips that far out so I dont have nay personal experience. She is going at the end of April 2008 so when can she start making ADRs?

180 Days out +10 if you are staying at a WDW resort.
