When can you see what Virgin plane you have?

I usually look at v-Flyer to try and see what plane we are likely to get for our flights to Orlando but I think i read somewhere on here that you can check on the VA website 11 months in advance?? Is this the case?

When we recently booked for late July next year the VH Rep semed to think that we would have a 747 not the new A330! How would she know so far in advance?

You can''t see exactly what plane you will have i.e. Tinkerbell but you can tell what type of plane. From gatwick I think it's the A330 for the 11:15am flight and the 747 for the 13:00. You can pre-request your seats from about 11 months before.

Where you flying from?
From Manchester for now the morning flight is the A330 & the afternoon flight the 747. Could change by next year though.

Flying out of Gatwick on the 11:15 (now 11:35!) on a Friday.

I have been monitoring the types of aircraft being used via the Virgin App (Cool! ) and it alternates between the A330 and the 747....but the virgin who we booked it with seemed to think it would be a 747, even so far in advance!

At the moment the A330 operates on set days of the week on the VS27 - I think it is Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday but not certain.

This is interesting! Does anyone know which planes will be flying from Heathrow to Miami on Sept 5th at 11.50, and from Orlando to Gatwick on 19th Sept at 20.15?

If you have a booking already you should be able to log in and see the seat map & which plane you are on.
