When can we make Reservations

Anyone know of a site that has a chart to tell you when the EARLIEST that you can make a DVC Reservation? It would be quite helpful.

Not sure if there is a site for that, when you sign onto your member account, it will tell you when you can book but, If you are booking with DVC points you can make reservations 11 months in advance at the resort that you own at. If you are trying to book a resort that you are not an owner for you can book them 7 months in advance.

For example we own at Saratoga so we can book at Saratoga up to 11 months in advance, if we want to stay at any other DVC property we would have to wait until 7 months prior to the reservations.

The reason I ask is that the first day of our trip will be on DEC 31, so making sure we have a place on one of the busiest days of the year is crucial, so I wanted to call the first day I was eligible. Where on the DVC site does it list the DATE you can call. 11 months doesn't pinpoint the exact day very easily.

If you sign into the member only section on the DVC website and then click on "My DVC", there is a link for "points". When you click on that it will tell you what you can book as of today... For example mine says:

Currently, you may request a reservation at your Home Resort for vacations that have a check-out date before November 26, 2006.

Currently, you may request a reservation at any Disney Vacation Club Resort for vacations that have a check-out date before July 26, 2006

For a December 31st ressie (we have one this year), you can make the ressie on February 1st, 11 months from the check out day for December 31.

caskbill's planner will give you the exact date too. i just used it to figure my 11m window for our trip next december (turns out i will be calling while i'm actually IN disney on jan 11th).
