When can we make Fastpass+ reservations?

We are going to Disney in December. According to Disney's website and press releases all hotels are going to be in a beta phase as of Dec 1. All Disney resort guest will be on the magic band system and fastpass+.
I made all of my restaurant reservation at 189 days out at 6am EST so I could get the times and restaurants I wanted and would like be prepared to do the same thing when it comes to the fastpass+ reservations. Anyone have feedback on when we might be able to make the reservations? I know this is hard to determine since they are still in test phase but I would like to see what everyones experiences have been.

They actually added on most onsite resorts as of October. I believe most if not all resorts are testing for November which was announced a week or so ago.

I imagine December will be announced around mid to late October if it follows suit.

But who knows? It's all still in test. They could say tomorrow that they're now going to start opening it up to all resort guests 60 days out from Checkin date. In that case people checking in December 1 would be tomorrow I believe or within a day or two.

I check in 11/29 and made my FP+ picks today. It's 60 days from arrival.

I have had my resort reservation for 2 months, but just bought tickets on line today. I hope I can get FP+ soon! I ordered Magic Bands several days ago.

We booked our trip this morning & it was under My Experience...I was clueless to this fast pass+ & magicbands but managed to customize them... what I'm a bit confused on is the cards they are talking about- must be the cards we normally use but if we have bands do we need the cards too? We're 41 days from arrival.

November only got released last week so I was able to make FP selections when I was around 50 days out, however, the people who weren't checking in until the end of the month had to wait until they were within 60 days. So the soonest you can do it is 60 days out, but you may have to wait longer if December isn't loaded for awhile.

The cards are issued to everyone with a MB (for now) as a back up since not all restaurants are set up to accept MB's yet and there are still some glitches in the system.
