When can we expect 2018 itineraries?

My parents have expressed interest in a Panama Canal cruise and I think we'd be looking at 2018. I know to have a snowball's chance in you-know-where of being able to afford to take Disney through the canal we'd have to book on the first day available (I'm Silver). So ideally I'd like to maybe do a bit of research on other lines then see when Disney comes out how it compares.

I thought Disney announces itineraries 2 years out but it looks like that's not the case for April 2018 at least - is it closer to 18 months or a year?

Apologies if this is info that's been posted somewhere, I've dug around but my Google-fu might not be strong tonight. Thank you in advance!

Generally, in the past, it's been about 18 months, but even that's not set in concrete. It's pretty much whenever DCL is ready to.
