When can we book AKL DVC rooms ??

Byron is a senior guide I believe and he was :sure: of his information, he said. Of course I have been told many things from Guides and MS that weren't true! So, nothing would suprise me. He did just get into the office today though. He also said that they were going to get some kind of packet this week with more details.

I'm just confused since my official AKV paperwork says May 16th.
I will be trying for a 1br concierge, so the one day difference will be important!

MS is going to be swamped that day.

Just think about how crazy it is the last week in Jan to get the 11 month window just for ONE week in December. How in the world is it going to be to book ALL dates in 2007 on the same day!!!

I propose they set up a plan like the "waitlist" - They call us when we they have the opening available. I wish.

I am sure lots of things will change between now and May, so I am not too worried about what we are hearing now. I did find it odd that Byron would stress it was the 15th, not the 16th. And he was sure it was the 7th as well. I hope it is the 16th though, as I am off on Wednesdays. I start work right at 9am on Tuesday, so that would suck!

Oh and anyone that read my other posts about using AKV pts to book other resorts, he said wasn't right. He said the pts can't be used for any bookings until May 15th/16th. He said don't listen to MS, they don't have very much information on this at all!

I will be at VWL May 13-20! I guess I am sending the crew on without me if I have to call to make a ressie. I don't want to take the chance of being on the bus and loose my signal! I am hoping for a concierge studio the first or second week of December! I know, I know... glutton for punishment!
