When can I get a second Tier One FP?

bear with me, I think I haven't been asking the question the right way


I totally get the part that I can not use any of my FP+'s before canceling the unwanted ones. I'm asking that if my very first FP+ of the day is at 9:30am and I don't walk through the gates of Epcot until 10am, will it then be too late to cancel the 2 unwanted FP+'s? Or it doesn't matter. The key is not to use any FP+'s?

With a FP for Soarin, we always RD TT. Usually done and out the exit in 20 minutes. Then we head to Mission Space, and after that over to Soarin using a FP.

That way we're sure to ride both TT and Soarin, and don't have to risk not getting a TT FP. And if we do get one...we can always ride it again

Yes, we are planning to do TT at RD, and then have a Soarin' FP for 10:30. I'm thinking that my son is going to really like TT, so I was hoping that we might be able to ride twice with minimal waits. We can't do single rider, though. Son is 9 years old and wouldn't ride single--not sure if Disney allows that or not, but it's not something he or I would be comfortable with.

Just for information: Disney allows guests as young as 7 years to ride "alone."

Wow, that seems young to me, but maybe it works for some families. My son is pretty timid, especially when it comes to rides. That is good to know, though.
