When can I get 2021 tickets?

Hello!

I am surprising my daughter with a day at Universal during our June 2021 Disney trip. I plan to buy the ticket where we can do both parks in one day (she is obsessed with Harry Potter). When can I buy tickets? I only had the option to purchase through December 2020 on the website. I tried looking it up but couldn’t find any info!

I’m not seeing an option anywhere either for a one-day ticket for 2021. Several of the multi-day tickets also seem to need to be used before the end of 2020. I am seeing a two-day two-park ticket without a particular expiration date specified (though the fine print online does reference a generic expiration date that will be printed on the ticket...?).


Unless a potential price increase would make or break the purchase, I’d say maybe just hang tight and see whether 2021 ticket info is released later year.

I was looking to buy a hotel + tickets package for October 2021. I was able to find the room I wanted but the only tickets offered with the package are dated 2020 on the website. Does that mean I need to wait to book a 2021 package until 2021 tickets are available?

ETA: Just got off chat, the 2020 tickets should say that their expiration is extended to Dec 31, 2021. Just check the "highlights" of the tickets you are adding to your cart before buying!

You scared me. We booked a package today for August 2021 and I had just assumed the tickets that were added on would be good then. We shouldn't have any issues, right?

I did email them and was told that the 2020 Promo 3 Park 4 Day Tickets are good until December 17, 2021. So we are good! Phew.
