When can I find the Mickey Graduation cap with ears?

Does anyone remember when you first started seeing the Mickey graduation cap with ears? My DS graduates next June and he really wants a cap like this with 2012 on it. I want the one that is the grad cap with ears and tassle and not the mickey ears with the little cap on top. I don't want to miss it and want to get one when they first come out. I hope I can get it fromt he Disney store.

I asked Betsy at Memories By Betsy if she'd seen any of the 2012 stuff in the stores yet and she said no. I would think they would be getting it in soon though, school has started back in most areas. Maybe they wait closer to graduation season though?

I'm not sure why a store would waste precious retail space on a seasonal item which is far out of season?



I'm certain graduation items for next May/June will not be available until well into 2012. I'd probably start checking starting next Feb-March (2012).

Well I figured since they carry Christmas stuff year round along with some very unique hats and Mickey Ears year round they'd have some out already....just because graduation 'season' isn't until May/June of 2012 doesn't mean that everyone takes their Disney trip during those months. We'll be going this October and then next October....so either we get it this trip or it'll be past graduation during our next trip so kind of pointless.

I'm in the same boat. My DD graduates this year as well. And she too wants this hat.
We will be in the World in April as an early graduation gift to her. So, I was planning on buying it then. If you don't get one before that maybe I can pick it up and mail it to you.

I was able to order the ears from disneyshopping.com in March of last year. I had them in plenty of time for an early May graduation.

There's available if you call (877) 560-6477. I ordered today. I spoke with a very knowledgable woman (thank goodness!) when I called the second time. According to her there are two codes for 2012 Graduation ears. 400005474712 is the the actual mortarboard graduation cap with fuzzy ears on it. 400005475467 is for Mickey ears with a small graduation cap in between the ears. Each is $19.95 + shipping and handling. I hope that helps!
