How far in advance can you book reservations? Just curious....My next trip is in 18 months (I DID convince DH!!- yesterday - yippy!!). I'm guessing you can book 1 year in advance, but I know certainthings book longer than that so I wasn't sure about the resorts. Anyone know?

Thanks!

You can book at least a year in advance. Maybe someone knows if you can book a room further out than that. They will quote you the rack rate and you pay the deposit based on that. Then you will need to keep watching the codes to apply to your reservation.

I tried to book the Dolphin this morning for the end of next June and beginning of July, and she told me to call back in 2-3 weeks.
When were you planning to go?

Actually a little known fact (maybe well known to some) is that Disney allows room only reservations up to ten years in advance! Hard to believe isn't it? I was told that by a WDW veteran friend of mine and I didn't believe her but when I made my reservations for next year last January, they said it was true. Of course they'll quote you the current rack rate but you can apply discount codes when they come out for your dates.

I forgot to say that I booked mine 19 months in advance. Am I just a little bit anxious. Nooooooo!:Pinkbounc

Woo hooo...thanks Castillo Mom. I'm planning my Dec 2005 trip -- 17 months from now, and I'd love to have the rooms booked. I know all about watching codes and calling back, so that's no problem. But it just feels good having a Disney reservation.

I'd go tomorrow if funds and my DH were not issues, but I'm happy to plan for the next year and a half. The kids will be 6, 4 and almost 3. I think it's going to be awesome!!!!!!!

:smooth:

Planning is half the fun isn't it? I just makes it seem more official once you've made reservations. I find it to be a stress reliever after a long, tough day at work to come home and cruise the DIS boards and plan, plan, plan!
