When can I book online?

At what time can I begin booking online (my 7 month window) Is it at 9am like the phone lines or do online bookers get in earlier?

2nd question: I have booked at our home resort but would like to try for something else at the 7 month window. Will it cancel current bookings and let me get new ones, without leaving me with nothing? Or do I have to do this on the phone?

Most reports say the on-line reservation system rolls to the next day by 8am eastern.

The on-line reservation system does not allow you to make any changes to an existing reservation other than to cancel all nights and add a dining plan. Any other changes need to be directed to MS by phone.

THanks for your reply...I guess I'll have to call member services at 9am. I hope that hour doesn't cost me the chance at a reservation...I wish they would change that or start online at the same time as the call in.

I guess there is a chance the hours for MS might change, but online won't because I was told if DVC online, and MS and the DRC all came online at the same time the system would crash every day.

Are you talking about a reservation at your home resort? I was wondering when I can make a res for antoher DVC property in WDW.

To book at another resort other than your home resort you cannot book until 7 months before your check in date.

9:00 AM EDT (EST if appropriate) for calling MS or
8:00 AM EDT (EST if appropriate) for a DVC member booking online.
