When can I book my complimentary resort nights?

On the yellow sheet of paper I got when we added on at BCV, it says we can't book our comp. nights until 7 months out, but my guide told me to call as soon as the paperwork was recorded. Has anyone tried to book more than 7 months out?

Yes I did. I was looking to book the first week in December for DisCon2. This was in April. I was told I had to call back after May 4th. You just have to call and book 7 months from the first night of the stay, not the entire stay. And all 5 nights have to be booked together. I called back in May and did not have any trouble booking the BWI for 5 nights.

I called MS yesterday and they told me I had to book 11 months out.

I wish they would get things straight, I want to make sure to get the resort I want.

Anyone else have insight?

We booked last Tues. for 5 nights in late Oct. after our 4 day Wonder Cruise and were disappointed to find that of our first 5 hotel choices, only the Wilderness Lodge had availablility! It was choice number 5 (there were rooms at AK but we wanted to be closer to the Epcot Food & Wine events) I was just a little disapointed with the response, since we are BWV owners with a new BCV contract (and use year).

I'm fairly sure that the Food & Wine and Halloween events have some impact on our ability to get reservations but it seems to me that with only a 1/3 or so sold, we can't all be booking the same 5 days Now I'm curious as to just how many rooms are available. I may check wit MS to be waitlisted for one of our other choice, but we do like the WL area and will someday book a villa there, so we may not change/ I hope others have better luck.
