When can I book for 2013?

I notice on the DLP website dates are only out until the end of the year - do additional months get released on a rolling basis or will all of 2013 be released in one go at some point?

If anyone can tell me when March/April 2013 will be up for grabs that'd be really useful.

Is it just as well to book as soon as dates become available, or is there any benefit to waiting for offers nearer the time?

If you wait too long flight/Eurostar prices will increase so any savings can be wiped out. However I certainly wouldn't book unless there is an offer - if there isn't one wait because there always seems to be one sooner or later.

Last year we booked for May half-term with the across the board opening offer of 30% which was never bettered for our dates.

This year the across the board opening offer was only 25%. We deliberated for a bit then decided to book (for August) as I'd kept an eye on prices the previous year and higher discounts hadn't been offered for August right until the last minute and then it was only selected hotels/dates. Then last month the 40% offer came out and I regretted booking so early as our hotel (NPB) and dates were included. Luckily I managed to get our booking upgraded so that we're now benefiting from the higher discount.

I was happy with the original price we paid (and even happier with the new price ) but I think I wouldn't book with a less than 30% offer again.

my mum works for a travel agents and she recieved information regarding the increase in deposits from 22nd may for all new winter/spring bookings so im hoping it will be around then as we are also looking to book for march

when i rang dlp they said end of may so fingers crossed

Quick question - if you've booked direct and a better offer comes out for your exact holiday - can you amend your booking to apply it?

You can try. If you try upgrading your room/hotel or add a dining package you may be lucky but don't rely on it - some of us have been successful recently but others haven't. As always it seems to depend on the CM.
