When Are You Putting Your Xmas Tree Up ??

We always put ours up the weekend before Christmas. So I guess that would be 23rd Dec... that seems a bit late though so it may go up on the 17th (as it is my DH's 8th birthday on the 16th - planned a little better than my mum, my brothers B'day is Dec 25th, and was nearly called him Noel!! can you imagine)

Happy Christmas !!!

I was the first on the UK disboards to put our tree up last year and this year, they'll be going up a little later on the 10th and 11th of November. We'll start getting them down from the attic this weekend.

:santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa:

Can't wait !!!

David

I forgot to say that friends of ours in South Wales put their decorations up (whole-hog) on 01-November EVERY year. :thumbsup2

On the ward where I work the staff had a very quiet night last night and were making room for the Xmas tree. They have a competition every year each area does a theme and its judged by 'The Board'. My ward is doing angels with pictures of the staff as babies and you have to guess who they are.

Horray :dance3: :dance3:

It's all finished, all the internal decorations are done and at the last count (including one desk top tree) we have 6 trees all up, decorated and on display. (1 x 7ft, 1 x 6ft 6"", 1 x 6ft, 1 x 5ft, and 1 x 3ft).

We actually finished them on Sunday but my DW Helen has been displaying the other items since.

As a bonus, all the boxes are already back up the attic.

I can just sit back and wait for the big day now. :rotfl:

Happy Christmas :santa: :santa: :santa:

it must be a Welsh think LOL, I really want to put ours up - but I will wait until the end of November

We normally start on the outdoor lights in nov, (theres so many it takes a month to get them all up!) but dont switch them on till dec 1st, howeveer this year well have to wait till after 8th as were having double glazing fitted on 4th - 8th december, so ours are going to be late this year, will be a mad rush to get them all up that weekend after. :Pinkbounc
Weve only moved this year and windows rearly need doing it so cold.x
did think of waiting just so i can put dec up on time but in the end logic won!X :confused3

Indoors ill do everything i can but tree and window dec cos of the windows again, and then i can put my tree in my bay window, (just like ive always wanted to , i think they look lovely there x) :artist:
