We are trying to get a campsite for Dec 3- Dec 10. Nothing available except electric and water. We need sewer also so I moved to Dec 10- Dec 17. Want to know when eveyone else is going so that I can see for myself if the campground is really full that first week. The weather is usually better the first week than the second. I am just really curious about this, but I will keep checking and hoping that someone might have to cancel!

I will have to cancel our Aug. visit to FW but not our early Dec. stay. Keep on calling and you might get that 1st week stay.

Good luck.

Going November 25-December 9. Got a site w/water, electric and sewer. I agree with John, keeping calling to see if they have openings for the spot/dates you want

I'll be there November 29 - December 7, but I'm in a partial hookup.

I thought the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas was one of the "least crowded times" at Disney World. Why is everyone having a difficult time getting ressies????

Even though the onsite resorts may be crowded it is still "low season" for WDW.

The offsite hotels on 192, I-Drive, and in Lake Buena Vista are very empty this time of year.

The onsite hotel residents only account for about 25% - 30% of the 4 parks maximum capacity.

We'll be there Dec 8-11, but were in a partial hook up site.

Checking in on Nov 29th, Checking out Dec.2nd. Tent camping in a partial site. 60 degrees yesterday afternoon here in Central IL., but only 18 degrees tonight. Hopefully this cold front doesn't push all the way south to Florida. :sunny:

We'll be there Dec 10-17 but we're in a cabin.

Been there several times the second week in December. You just never know what the weather will be like. Last year it was so cold! We had winter coats, hats and gloves on besides blankets wrapped around us at the campfire. But then some years it's been shorts and swimming in the pool. Hoping for warmer weather this year.

We'll be there from the 11 - 17 but we're in a cabin. :earsgirl: And its true you never know how the weather is gonna be. The joys of being in florida lol

...from Novemeber 25 (or 26) and we will be leaving December 3. We will be in a partial hook-up site though.

Wow - lots of DISers in partial hookups at the same time!!

I've usually requested Loop 1500, but I think I'm going to request Loop 2000 this time as the pads in Loop 2000 are larger and I've got a larger tent now.

Hope to see ya'll there! I'll have a big grey Coleman Tent, a green awning with soccer balls/baseballs/footballs in front of the tent, and for part of the week a second yellow/blue tent, with a plain green awning in front of that tent. There will also be ECVs parked in front of the tents.

Feel free to drop by!!

Wow! Put me down for the 10-17 also. We will be staying in the cabins though. With the price of diesel, etc. we decided not to pull the fiver. When we planned the trip it was like $3 a gallon or something ridiculous.

When I made my ressie back in October, I was not able to get a full hook up for 10-17. I could only get a partial. So, go figure.

Mantaz, I see youre from Georgia, what part. I live in Sharpsburg, down near Newnan/Peachtree City.

We'll be there 11/27-12/12 in a full hook-up site. It can't get here soon enough! :cheer2:

We will be camping in a coleman tent this time - red and gray. There will be Charcoal (black) Suzuki Aerio SX (station wagon) on site with Tennessee plates. We may have our dining/rain fly over the picnic table as well. We may string a few lights for the Holiday Season but not sure yet. Come on by. It would be great to put faces to names.

We will be there Dec 3rd - 10th in one of the cabins... will have a sand/tan colored Chevy Venture van and a blueish gray Ford Explorer both with FL tags... will be decorating the cabin, inside and out, for Christmas... stop by and say hello :)

Also in a cabin. We'll be there from the 2nd to the 10th. Actually we have 4 cabins as there will be 17 of us making this trip back.
