When are the locals out for Spring break ?

well, My husband broke the news to me last night that my DD is "wearing" our London trip we had planned for the last week in March ( yup braces to the tune of 3K )....but softened the blow by saying maybe we could do DL weekend and a visit with family . So, how busy is it usually the last week of March, do they extend park hours ? When are CA schools out ?????

We are going in March too....Los Angeles Unified School District has their spring break March 25-29, 2002.

Darn ! That is our exact dates too ! I'm afraid that it would be very crowded.

We live in Northern California--our Spring Break this year is April 6th-14th. We went to DL this past April. (the week after Easter) It wasn't too bad. We did have some trouble with dining at DD though. We never planned ahead--we waited till we were hungry to find a place to eat--NOT A GOOD IDEA! The parks were open till late (midnight). We had plenty of time to do everything that we wanted to do. We used Fastpasses alot and it helped! DCA wasn't crowded at all!

JUDY!!!! Sorry to hear about London but happy that you're coming out this way!

Spring break here is very scattered, from mid-March to mid-April. Sammy is in year-round school and has a whole month off during that period.

The week prior and the week of Easter are the most crowded two weeks, but with breaks so staggered no one week is totally unbearable.

Hope you make it out here! And I understand about Kinz wearing your trip, Sammy is in "pre-orthodontia" already and it is a chunk of change...and we STILL have the braces route in a year or so, yikes.

<font face="Comic Sans MS"><font color=navy>Sorry to hear about London, Judy, but DL is a fun option! I can relate to the braces - both of mine are just starting out, and it's all I can do not to cry when I think of all the $$ -- but I know it's well worth it.

Let us know if you have time to meet - we'd love to see you guys again, and I know Kelly will be excited when she hears Kinz is coming out.

just saw in the brochure that this is PEAK rates time ! Not a happening thing ! Maybe I'll just take Kinz to London by myself.........or perhaps mexico !

Tustin (city near Anaheim) has March 30-April 7 off.
