My daughter is not as bad as she was when she was younger (she's 18 now) but I was wondering when will it all end???

When she moves out. :rotfl:

Seriously, my DD 20, moved into an apartment for a while last year, and we didn't have issues (because she wasn't here in my face!)

Now she's back home until she finishes school. And we're back to the same old thing. (I've got an almost 13 year old as well - and this has got to be the worst!)

They stop being moody when they become parents and realize what ********* they made out of themselves. By then it is too late b/c the GRANDPARENTS get their revenge and tell thier grandkids what ********* their parents were and it gives the kids amunition. YOu know what they say about pay back...I fully intend to pay my kids back, in fact I cannot wait for the day.

::yes:: Sad, but true. :teeth:

I was going to say when they move out....

My first thought was when they move out. I chuckled to see others thinking the same. ;)

My dd's have their moments.....dd26 and dd17 will have their rants (older dd rarely as she is a wife and mother and her dh has to put up with her now)....DS19 on the other hand is much more moody than the girls....I havent figured out what sets him off....but he can put me in a bad mood so quickly just by looking so glum. He has gotten a bit better and friends have said that their ds's stopped the moodiness around 21-22. I am sure looking forward to it.

I'm 50yo and I'm still a moody teenager at heart. :earseek:

I was actually going to say "When they have teenagers of their own".

I used to think it ws when they moved out, but now I am sure it is when they have kids :)

My DD25 was something else when she was a teenager, and even in her early 20's. Now that she has 2 DD's she has changed so much. The best thing I heard so far was when she got home from the hospital with her 2nd DD. The girls are 19 months apart and she called me up and sounded horrible, I asked her what was wrong and she said "they don't sleep at the same time" I just had to laugh :lovestruc

at 20 they stop being Teenagers, then they become adults. so thats a whole nother ballpark. ;)

Some eventually get it, and some don't. :)
