I understand a good time to buy is right when MF are due because people don't want to pay the next years bill. Also I understand the bills for 2015 are going out.

I want to wait until the end of 14 to make my offer after I have a better idea of where my taxes settle so I am just wondering when MF are due and if owners will be more likely to sell at a lower rate now, at the end of the year. Or in January.

Owners have now received their dues estimates so if they are going to sell, now would be the time to start looking.

As you know, sellers will always think that their contract is worth more than what it is and buyers will always feel that it's worth less.

it's worth making an offer in the next month if you are interested, but i historically haven't seen the giant increase in the supply of "for sale" DVC contracts at the end of the year that you might find for other timeshares. i honestly don't think it will make much of a difference.

MF are due 1/15 and considered late if paid after 2/14.

So if I'm buying a contract now, and it closes before the end of the year, would that mean that I wouldn't have to come up the dues until January? Or because I just bought I'll still have to come up with 2015 at closing?
