I'm new to dis and are planning to go Oct11 with a stay at AK.
I've seen references that it is difficult to get a ressie for breakfast at the castle with the princesses. How do you do this? Do I call now or when I get there? What Number do you dial? What other breakfasts are notable?

Thanks,
Crissy

Crissy You need to call 60 days in advance to get a ressie at Cindy's to meet the princess. You can try now and hope for a cancelation. Call 407 WDW DINE. Ask for Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast. If you don't get that, ask for the Epcot Princess Breakfast. You won't see Cindy but there are plenty of other princesses.
There are some great tips on the post at the top of the dining page here on the Dis. Read up because there are plenty of great tips. Good luck.;)

You need to call exactly 60 days from the day you want to eat at Cindy's Royal Table (CRT) for breakfast in the Castle. You are already well within the 60 day time frame so I would call now (407-WDW-DINE) and see if any of the days you are in WDW has an opening. People cancel all the time and you might get a PS (priority seating).

The other alternative is the new Princess Storybook Breakfast (PSB, for short) at Norway's Restaurant Akershus in Epcot's World Showcase. You won't find Cindy there but you will find Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty and others. Again, you can call today and see if there is any openings for while you are there.

You can meet Cindy in Toontown which is in the Magic Kingdom. You'll have to wait in line most likely but you'll be rewarded with a few minutes alone with Cindy. Time enough to greet her, take pictures and get autographs. Mickey and Pooh are in the same area with their own separate ques.

For more information, visit my website (use links below). I have a special CRT page at http://pscalculator.net/pscrt.shtml

Good luck and Happy Planning! :smooth:

If you don't make it to a character meal to meet the princesses, you can look in the World Showcase at Epcot for some of them: You may find Belle in France, Mary Poppins in Great Britain, I don;t know if Jasmine is at Morocco, but Alladin is. At Animal Kingdom, you may find Pocahontas at Rafiki's Conservation Station. Besides Alice and Cinderella, mentioned in a previous post at the Magic Kingdom, you can also look for Jasmine (and Alladin & Genie) near the Alladin's Carpet Ride, and you can find Ariel in the Grotto (you'll have to wait in line here to).

If meeting the princesses is a "must do", I would definitely do the Princess Storybook Breakfast in EPCOT. The only one you'll miss is Cinderella (try to do an early lunch at the castle, she's usually downstairs). I would think you'll run yourself ragged trying to see them all randomly at the parks.

Have fun.
