When and how can you transfer points ?

I have 250 points commencing August 2004 as I just bought into Saratoga Springs. Can I transfer these points if so when is the earliest this can be done ?

I'm confused. Transfer is to put them into someone else's account. Is that what you want to do?

Or do you want to use them at another DVC resort or other resort?

I have someone interested in having them transferred to their account. I need to sel the points as I cant use them in 2004.

I don't think you'll be able to actually transfer the points until you close around May of this coming year. You could make a reservation in their name if you wanted.

After you make the arrangements with the person who is buying the points--agreeing on the cost and dates he wants, and payment plan--call MS to make the ressies. I usually require $100 deposit to hold the ressie past 24 hours, and send the renter the ressie number, so they can check to see that a ressie is there. I will send the actual confirmation sheet with their name on the sheet, once I receive the $100. Then, I have a payment plan in place so I have all the money 45 or more days before arrival at WDW.

You don't tell MS that you are renting the points--it's none of their business

Yes you could reserve and then rent the accomodations you reserved. You could do this at any DVC resort with the reservation windows in mind.
