When a co-worker "pops" gum-Ughh!!!

I love her to death, but I'm about to explode! I realize that this is my hang-up, but it annoys the heck out of me. I've joked with her about how it bothers me and she stops sometimes, but I feel bad having to tell her every time she starts. Sorry, just needed to vent before I walk over to her and pull the gum out of her mouth (just kidding )

My co-worker got on an apple kick where he was eating about three apples a day. He sits across the room, behind me.....I'd hear the 'click' as he opened his knife, he'd then only cut the apple in half.....and then procede to eat the apple. He'd take a big bite out of the half....crrriiiiiccccchhhhh, chomp chomp.....this would go on for several minutes until he reach the core, then a "whump" as he tosses the core into the trash.....a pause, then crrrrriiiiiicchhhhh as he went to work on the other half.

I tried turning up the radio, wearing earplugs, but finally just went for a walk when the munching began.

I'm glad I didn't say anything as the apple craze has passed.

I have a coworker that eats 2 bags of chips a day. CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH...CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH...like nails on a chalkboard.

one week he started in on sunflower seeds...for 5 days straight he ate sunflower seeds for 6 hours a day. crunch - spit - crunch - spit.

I finally said to him "are you almost done with that bag? it's REALLY starting to get annoying"

sometimes you just gotta speak up. give your coworker some altoids. heheh

I am guilty of popping my gum - I try not to do it in a place where others will be bothered, but sometimes I do it without thinking

That is a pet peeve of mine. I can't stand that sound. I was in the library the other day and an older lady was doing it and I had to just walk away because if I didn't I would have said something.
