When a category shows GTY ...

I'm looking at a cruise for next summer, and the 9C is showing gty only. Does anyone have experience whether staterooms might still pop up in this category? Or once it's gty, does it never again show staterooms available to choose?

Basically assigned numbers now will not come up unless a lot of people cancel.

When a category goes to GTY it means that they like airlines are overselling say by 105% as they know that 5% will cancel before PIF or cancel re incidents or health issues.

So to go back to stateroom numbers on that Cat they would need maybe 10% of people in that Cat to cancel.
