Wheels Inn and Hockey Tournaments

We stayed at the Oaks when DS played in a tournament in Wallaceburg a few years ago. For a place the size of Wallaceburg I was very impressed with the Oaks Inn. Small rooms, but clean. They even gave us the use of a hospitality room for pizza one night.

Damo I think the hotel is selling the rooms to the agency for 99 and the agency is then putting a fee on it not the hotel. We have stayed at the Oaks and the Wheels and I have used the Travel lodge and teh other they are all nice but the wheels is the best bang for the buck with entertainment for the kids.

But the amount gets paid to the hotel, so they know about it and are allowing it since more than one Chatham hockey tournament is being organized by this "all sports accomodations" agency. Whatever way you look at it, it is still wrong.

I would like to stay at the Wheels just because it gives the kids something to do between games and keeps them in one place.

It looks like we will just spread out amongst the three hotels in Chatham. It is not the best team scenerio but there isn't much we can do about it.
