wheelchairs & electric scooters

when you rent a wheelchair OR electric scooter,, can you take them between parks? ( I seem to recall you could take strollers)

also,, IF you plan on renting one of the items in the park,, is there a CLOSE access to the park for a person who cannot walk far?? I don't recall anyplace closer to park except the parking garage, & it is a LONG walk from there through all the 'halls' & past citywalk into the parks.

I suppose there might be a place for people with handicapped stickers,, but not without? I remember a LONG time ago before the parking garage, it was easy to pull up in front of the park & walk a short distance.

When I stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel in August, I saw two or three electric scooters charging otside at the front of the hotel. People could rent them and take them through the parks or wherever they wanted to go. Even if you are not staying at one of the on site hotels, perhaps you could arrange to pick up and drop off your scooter at one of the hotels. This would allow you to drive your car directly to the scooter. If you have another driver along, he or she could park the car and meet you at a designated spot. If you do not have another driver along, you could ask the bellstaff at the hotel to valet park for you. Hope this is helpful.
