Wheelchairs Buses and Peak Season

Greetings!

I have the opportunity to go to WDW for only the cost of room and food. However, I would be there just before Easter. I've never to the WDW during peak season before. I know the buses tend to have long waits anyway but what happes when you are using a wheelchair? How long should I expect to wait for a bus? I was originally thinking about a value resort but no I'm thinging maybe I should a do a moderate to help with the crowds.

We have been to WDW during peak times with a wheelchair and really had little problem.
The biggest hints I would have are to try to ride the bus during non-peak times as much as you can. Those are the times it is most busy.
Also, people tend to try to leave the parks right after the afternoon parades and right after the evening shows (Illuminations, Spectromagic and Wishes). If you hang around for a while and take your time getting out, you will miss most of the crowds and probably get back to your resort only a few minutes later than if you had 'rushed' out to try to get the first bus. We've actually had part of our party leave right away after Illuminations and Specromagic and the rest hang back and wait. Even though the 'early group' left almost 20 minutes before the others, we got back to our resort within about 5 minutes of each other. And, those of us who waited had the wheelchair, so it took longer to load. We had a much easier time getting out because we didn't have to fight any crowds.

I agree with Sue.

I've only stayed at value resorts in June and August, and never had any problem with the buses.
