Have two older parents that can't walk long distance and do not want a scooter.
Staying on site.
Where are there wheelchairs to Rent on property?
Can they be reserved ahead of time? Cost?
How accessible is everything?
Any answers or tips on these questions or Wheelchairs in general at Universal will be appreciated.

Only seem to find older postings on the internet about this.

Thanks!

Why are they against a scooter? Is this their first time going to the parks?

They could get one scooter and share if they don't feel they need it all the time.

It is really exhausting pushing a wheelchair esp if it is hot, so not really fair on the pusher.

You can rent one at Universal at the front, however, esp since you are staying onsite, I would recommend renting one from an off site place, then it could be used in the parks and at the resort.

The wheelchair rental area is at the front of both parks. Don't think you can rent ahead of time, except for an off site vendor of course. The off site vendors have reg push chairs as well as scooters and could be a really good value depending on how many days you are going.

The cost for a scooter in park is $50. The cost for a reg wheelchair is around half.

The wheel chairs are at a first come set up.
When they have rented all the wc, you are out of luck then.

Do what skylock suggested and rent off site.

I would think about a scooter for them.
It is tough pushing a person all day in the park if you plan to do an all day and evening thing.
