Wheelchair spot during parade-MK

Hi there,
My friend and her family are heading MK and asked me a question that I can't answer. They have a wheelchair bound daughter. Can they watch the parade and wishes from the hub area designated for wheelchairs? I know there are now FP areas but don't know if that wheelchair only area has been removed? Thanks for your help!

The online disabilities guide for MK dated May 2014 still has one listed by the hub. It might not be the exact one you're thinking about, but there is one there. There is also one farther towards the park entrance, where Marie and Pluto meet guests. They will be able to watch from there, but if the park is really crowded they may require that 1 person stay with the daughter, and the rest of the group find spots outside of the wheelchair area nearby.

There are 3 handicapped viewing areas:
- at the train station on a Main Street
- by the castle on a Main Street
- in Frontierland, across from the Hall of a Presidents.

The one by the castle hub was previously on the side of the circle, sort of across from the walkway to Tomorrowland. It is now on the side of the hub that faces down Main Street toward the train station.
From what I have read, the Fastpass Plus parade viewing area is on the opposite side of the castle hub, facing the castle.

As the other posters mentioned, plan to be there in plenty of time. The areas can fill up quickly and be crowded. They line up the wheelchairs/mobility devices were close together across the front of the area. Additional family members stand behind.
