Hey guys--I know this has probably been discussed here before, but I am in a bit of a time crunch. I am taking my mom to WDW on Saturday to celebrate her 60th birthday! We are so excited, but she twisted her hip pretty bad this week at her part-time job. I don want her to hurt herself or overdo it, so anyone have info about renting a wheelchair or ECV onsite? We are staying at the Polynesian, so convenience is a must. I know the parks have wheelchairs for rent, but do they have the scooters, too?

Thanks, friends!!

ETA: Sorry, I am heading to the disAbilities board!!!

Sorrow to hear about her injury.

Follow the link in my signature to the disABILITIES FAQs thread. Post 2 of that thread has information about renting wheelchairs and ECVs.

the parks do have the scooters but they are first come first serve and they do run out. Rent offsite from a approved vender and it will be waiting for her at the poly when you arrive, then she will have one for wherever you go, the monorail is easy to take a scooter on
