Wheelchair friendly shuttle buses?

Does anyone know if I'm going to be able to use the shuttles once I get off Eurostar and head for the hotel? I'm a wheelchair user and will not be able to climb onto a bus.

I'm not very hopeful to be honest, but how else can I get to the hotel? Is it a case of having to get there under our own steam or perish the thought, struggling in a cab? (With luggage, wch two tired kids .......) There must be alternatives as I know I'm not the only 'wheelie' to visit DLP but I can't find any info.

You're such a helpful bunch here, I hope you can help me. :sunny:

Thanks in advance.

I've the DLP guide for disabled guests but unfortunately it is at work.
If no one checks in I'll have a look at it when I'm back in the office on Thursday :)

I'm not sure how many, if any of the hotel shuttles are adapted for wheelchair use but, according to the information on the official site.

"Specially adapted minibuses are at your disposal to travel between the Disney Parks and Disney Hotels."

But apparently you "Request this service at the reception desk of your Disney Hotel, at City Hall in Disneyland Park or at Studio Services in Walt Disney Studios® Park." - so not much use when you arrive off the Eurostar.

So I would email them at dlp.guest.communication@disney.com and ask about prebooking one for your arrival. :)

I'm really glad that information was useful Donna. :goodvibes I would hope that emailing will mean you have a shuttle waiting for you when you arrive, but just in case it didn't turn up, I would suggest taking the number of your hotel with you too.

Thanks again Becky!

Now all Ihave to do is convince the CMs that I am capable of climbing a ladder ;) ...... . (A ladder is part of the evac procedure on Peter Pan's Flight) but I really don't want to miss this one. I'll be gutted if they won't let me ride.

Oh well. Que sera sera and all that :)
