I was just wondering if anyone out there also suffers an intolerance to wheat (not the allergy), just a general, I can eat wheat but I might suffer a little indigestion later...and if they have had that noted on their ADRs. I guess I am wondering how or what is available for this? From what I read, the chefs are very accomodating of dietary needs...wheat is used in so much, I just wondered if there were tasty wheat free choices or should I just prepare for indigestion and do my best on my own?

BTW, we have ADRs for:

Citricos
Spoodles
CP
Breakfastosaurus
Mickey's Backyard BBQ
SciFi

TIA for any previous relevant experience to share!

I remember noticing an article on allears.net written by someone with Celiacs. I knot it is not exactly the same, but I assume many of the same foods are off limits. It sounded like the person was able to get a lot of gluten free alternatives. You might want to check out the site and see if you can find the article.

If you note on your Table Service ADRs that you have a dietary concern, the chef will come to your table to discuss the menu with you and to arrange any foods that could be especially prepared for you.

We visited WDW with an aunt who has a gluten intolerance and we were very impressed with the personal attention she received.

We even ordered ahead so she could have a gluten-free dinner at the Hoop-Dee-doo.

This is the chef from 50's PTC who made her a special meatloaf with rice-flour breadcrumbs.... she said it was delicious!
