whats your view on pizzafari?

DD is a very picky eater, have RFC booked for 6pm on AK day, looking for pizza friendly counter service for quick bite to eat.
what do you think of pizzafari? menu and price look ok on allears.

My children (2 girls, 6 and 8) like it and the 6 yr. old is fairly picky. The pizzas are fairly large for children, so it may be more than your daughter can finish. We had fun checking out the animals on the walls and ceiling.

Also, I'd like to recommend the chicken caesar salad for yourself - one of the best in WDW in my opinion. My very picky sister loves the pizza here as well so your DD should be fine! Love the rooms at Pizzafari too, hope you enjoy!

What time does Pizzafari open for lunch? I have members of our group that refuse to eat breakfast and will be needing a meal at that time for the earliest lunch time.

Or if you enjoy bbq, try Flame Tree. The are not usually as long and the food isn't bad for counter service.

The pizza is pretty decent for counter service! However, I had the chicken caesar salad last December and enjoyed every bite! I've heard other DISer's rave about the deli sandwich there too. It's a nice airconditioned break during the day as well!

Actually, I'm a little ashamed to admit that I've been to AK several times, and Pizzafari is always where we eat. I love the deli sandwich and DH really likes the pizza. It seems like it's better than than the pizza we've had at other counter service places IMHO.

We are the same way! We only eat at Pizzafari when we are at Animal Kingdom. I guess it's become part of our family tradition!

DH and I both love Pizzafari, probably the best counter service pizza on property.

wow, thanks for all the replies, all positive, will definately eat there, whats the best time? is it really really busy? we awere thinking of small breakfast and eating there about 12 noon?

We loved Pizzafari! We have always ended up at Flame Tree - the smell of that Barbecue always sucks us in! The pizza is ok - more of what kids like. They are pretty big. The deli sandwich is AMAZINGLY good. DH and I shared one. We also shared the caesar salad. The lettuce was very fresh and crisp. We also liked the painted walls - and had fun walking thru the rooms on our way out. The lines looked intimidating, but I think because of the limited menu they are able to move people thru really quickly.
For 2 cheese pizzas, a deli sandwich, an order of breadsticks (which are also a yummy treat. 4 large breadsticks with sauce for 3.99) a side salad and two large drinks we spent $29.00 with tax. We didn't finish it all. DDs are 12 and 14, and they were full, too!

That deli sandwich is SO good! I can't wait to get back there in September for another one! My sis and DD shared a pizza. Sis said it was very good. We ate at Flame Tree last year, it was good, but I like Pizzafari better...plus Pizzafari has indoor seating!

We always eat here! I love love love the hot deli sandwich, and dh likes the meat pizza. We'll be going again in June, I think. It's the only place we eat at AK

DH is a fan of the deli sandwich as well. DS and I like the pizzas. The atmosphere is great for a counter service place. We like it better than Flame Tree BBQ.

Not sure about Pizzafari, but we ate at Flametree BBQ at 11am one day. If that's open, why wouldn't Pizzafari be?
