Why would you stand by your source when it has already been proven to be a hoax?

The original source for the IQ by State data is somebody calling himself "Robert Calvert."

"Calvert" claims the IQ numbers are from the Ravens Advanced Progressive Matrices test. John Raven has said that there is no comprehensive State-by-State data for his test.


The first time this IQ test with red/blue states surfaced by Calvert was in 2000 for the Gore/Bush presidency vote. Now he has recycled the same hoax for 2004. He claims it came from Raven but Raven said there is no such IQ test. How much more proof do you need?
