What's Your Ringtone?

Mine is Something More by Sugarland but I have had it for a while, thinking about changing. In the summer it was Summer Time by Kenny Chesney.

For those who want a song and are capable of downloading things on your phone through text try out mobile17.com

I would also LOVE the monorail bit. How did you get that? With my phone, I probably can't.:( Anyone a phone/ringtone expert and can help me?

It's actuallly pretty easy: all you have to do is get an mp3 of the song you want and then get a software pkg that can manipulate mp3s into appropriate lengths to be used for ringtones. The one I've got is Ringtone Media Studio, and I think it was in the ballpark of $20 or so. Once you've got the song you want and have used the software to edit it down to a good length, you can use any of a number of free cell upload sites; the one I use is http://mindfulmusings.net/cellupload/singleupload.php. It'll have you enter your phone # & provider and then, once your song is uploaded, it'll send you a text message with the URL to go to download the song to your phone. Then you just apply it as your ringtone and you're good to go!

All of this ringtone talk has made me go change mine again...my "main" one is now Devil - Stereophonics. :)

Currently, I have Take it to da House, by Trick Daddy. During football season, I will switch it to FSU's fight song.

I also have Rock the Casbah (The Clash) and Never Scared (Bone Crusher).

I'll add on a bit to this, if you don't have the money for the program Itunes works just as well. Then upload it to mobile17.com and bam you have the ringtone.

"What's This?" from Nightmare Before Christmas

When DH calls its "I want to know how forever feels" - Kenny Chesney
Everyone else "When the Sun Goes Down" - Kenny Chesney

Walking through the halls at school, I'm always amused by the variety of ringtones everyone chooses for their phones.

What did you choose as a ringtone?

Was this a difficult and carefully weighed decision or just the first thing you liked?

And do you change your ringtones frequently or loyal to the "one" song?

I've had Linus and Lucy (the Peanuts theme) for years and it took me going through basically the entire playlist before I came across it. I'm boring but loyal! ;)

Hey I have the peanuts "christmas time" for a holiday ringer. But right now it is "Scotty doesn't know" by Lustra and from the movie Eurotrip.

Mikeeee

For DH its Lets Get It On
For my best friend its Girls Just Wanna have fun
For everyone else its Good Directions

Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve. It's been on my phone for two years.

Before that, I had the Theme from The Man from U.N.C.L.E. for five years.

Livin' on a prayer by bon jovi for everyone.

My old phone had a feature where I could program my ringtones, so I had IllumiNations, Zip A De Doo Dah, Main Street Electrical Parade, Imagination and Everybody has a Laughing Place programmed in.

This phone doesn't have the feature, but in the library I found music from my favorite show in Epcot, Impressions de France. So, Aquarium from Carnival of the Animals by San Saens is my ringtone.

When our contract is up, I'm hoping to get phones I can program again. Hmmm, now you've got me thinking I should start looking.

It's funny to me how many people have the Nokia ringtone on their phone. It just screams out "I'm a technophobe" to me!

Suzanne

Apart form actual rings I have had two tones, I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles (the song for my football team) and the TV theme for Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
