Have stayed in Studio, 1BDR and 2BDR - all depends on our travel party

Have done 4 DCL cruises - Eastern, Western, West Coast and Med. Cruise (have used combination of points and cash - always two cabins).
Also got my trade for 09 - Cancun, MX - The Royal Sands.

I prefer a larger space, but can't always spare the points. I would love a one-bedroom for DH and I, but sometimes we go for a studio. The question is always - more nights or bigger accommodations... So far, more nights wins.

3. Do you use your points for off-property stays (Cruises, Disney Collection, Adventurer, Passport, Conceirge)?

No, not yet. We are considering a cruise.

I would love to buy a few more points. Maybe next year....

2. We have stayed mostly in studios, but did have a 2bdrm and a studio for the big trip with my sisters. We are trying out a 1 bdrm at HH in November, and have reserved 2 studios for us and friends for next March. (We hope to start using the 1 bdrms soon.) Our January 08 trip was centered around a weekend so we used std. studio points instead of getting a 1 bdrm. That was a good trade-off.

Normally we are in a 2 bedroom, gotta have my washer/dryer. I think we've only stayed in a studio twice.

DL quite often. II exchange to Kauai this Oct.

2. Size of rooms depends on how many are traveling. We did a 1 BDR for 3 of us, a studio when it was just the two of us and a 2 bdr when there were five of us.

3. Used DVC pts once for a one night stay at the Disneyland Hotel when my wife and daughter were on a trip to Cali.

3. We did the 7-night Disney Magic Eastern in Value season. It was 327 points for myself, DW, and DD4. I didn't think it was that bad a value. We are also doing 4 nights at the DLH in July.

We used pts for the DCL in January of this year and my DH & I are going on the DCL without the kiddos in Mar 2009.

i perfer two bedrooms which is for five people. have stayed at the gv and they are nice
